Randomized prospective analysis of arthroscopic suprapectoral and open subpectoral biceps tenodesis: 1 year follow-up
38 patients scheduled for biceps tenodesis were randomized to either an arthroscopic suprapectoral technique or open subpectoral technique. Patients were assessed for clinical scores, anterior shoulder pain, and shoulder strength over the first year after surgery. Results demonstrated no significant differences in any postoperative outcomes between groups.
