Is yoga more beneficial than exercise-based interventions for patients with chronic low back pain? A systematic review and meta-analysis.
OrthoEvidence Journal (OE Journal) - ACE Report
OE Journal. 2026;14(14):40 Front Med (Lausanne). 2026 01-Apr;():. 10.3389/fmed.2026.1792208研究概要
7 randomized controlled trials including adults with chronic nonspecific low back pain were included in this systematic review and meta-analysis comparing yoga with active exercise-based interventions. Pooled outcomes included pain intensity, physical function, back-related disability, and emotional wellbeing. Yoga improved physical function and emotional wellbeing compared with exercise, but no significant differences were observed for pain or disability. Overall, yoga appears to be a valid exercise option with potential functional and emotional benefits, although the limited evidence and substantial heterogeneity prevent definitive conclusions of its superiority.
