Mobilization techniques in subjects with frozen shoulder syndrome: randomized multiple-treatment trial.

28 subjects with frozen shoulder syndrome (FSS) were randomized to undergo one of two multiple treatment trials for the treatment of FSS. The three techniques involved in the treatment trials were end-range mobilization (ERM), mid-range mobilization (MRM), and mobilization with movement (MWM). The primary outcome was function and the results indicated that the ERM and MWM treatments resulted in significantly improved functional ability and mobility at the 12-week follow-up.
