Controlled Trial Adhesive Capsulitis of the Shoulder: Randomized Mobilization Techniques in the Management of Comparison of High-Grade and Low-Grade
Phys Ther. 2006 Mar;86(3):355-68100 patients undergoing treatment for unilateral adhesive capsulitis of the shoulder were randomised to receive treatment using either a low-grade mobilization technique (LGMT) or high-grade mobilization technique (HGMT). The primary outcomes were range of motion at the shoulder and disbaility. Results indicated that the HGMT group showed better (albeit small) improvements in the outcomes examined compared to the LGMT group. However, both groups showed improvements during the course of the study.
