The effectiveness of group and home-based exercise on psychological status in people with ankylosing spondylitis: A systematic review and meta-analysis
Musculoskeletal Care . 2022 Dec;20(4):758-771.A meta-analysis of 5 randomized controlled trials (215 patients) was conducted to compare the effects of a group-based exercise program on psychological outcomes and physical function with a home-based exercise program. The results significantly favored the group-based exercise group for both depression and physical function.
