OE Journal. 2021;9(8):18 Int J Ther Massage Bodywork. 2021 Mar 1;14(1): 30-38.研究概要
Forty-eight patients diagnosed with anteriorly rotated sacroiliac joint dysfunction (SIJD) were randomized to receive the Muscle Energy Technique (MET) technique during their first session combined either with flexion bias exercises (control; n=24) or gluteus maximum activation exercises (n=24) for 4 weeks which occurred twice/week for 20 mins each session. The primary outcome was disability which was the Oswestry Disability Index (ODI) at 4 weeks follow-up. Secondary outcomes of interest included pain which was evaluated using the Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) and pelvic tilt angle using the Palpation Meter (PALM) which were both measured immediately after the intervention and at 4 weeks follow-up. Results of this study demonstrated that a statistical significant improvement in ODI scores at 4 weeks follow-up in the intervention compared to the control (p=0.011); however, all other outcomes were not statistically significantly different between the 2 groups (p>0.05).
