34 participants clinically diagnosed with lateral epicondlyalgia were included in this study which examined the immediate effects of two counterforce braces. Participants received all three treatment conditions (forearm-elbow brace, forearm only brace, no brace) in a random order, and underwent immediate evaluation following application for outcomes of pain-free grip strength (PFG), pressure pain threshold (PPT), and wrist angle during PFG task. There were no significant condition-by-time interactions identified among the three groups for any of the outcomes. Collectively, PFG and PPT were significantly and similarly improved among all three treatment conditions.
