OE Journal. 2024;12(13):16 Healthcare (Basel) . 2024 Apr 12;12(8):823.研究概要
Fourteen randomized controlled trials including 1280 patients with thumb carpometacarpal osteoarthritis were included in this systematic review and meta-analysis comparing exercise-based interventions versus other conservative treatments. Pooled outcomes of interest included pain intensity, wrist disability, grip and pinch strength, range of motion, and pressure pain thresholds. The pooled results indicated that exercise-based interventions were significantly more effective in reducing pain intensity and wrist disability at short-term follow-up compared with no treatment. Overall, the findings suggest that exercise-based interventions can provide better clinical outcomes in the short term compared to no treatment in patients with thumb CMCJ OA.
