Epub 2009 Feb 940 patients were randomized to receive arthroscopic rotator cuff repair using either a double anchor or a single anchor technique.The purpose of this study was to compare clinical results and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) evaluations of these techniques. At 1 year post-operatively, the results indicated that the use of a double anchor technique did not provide any significant clinical or imaging improvements.
