Digital interventions for promoting exercise adherence in chronic musculoskeletal pain: a systematic review and meta-analysi

Three studies including 322 patients with chronic musculoskeletal pain were included in this meta-analysis assessing the effectiveness of adjunctive digital interventions vs control for the improvement of exercise program adherence. The primary outcome of interest was exercise adherence. Results demonstrated no statistically significant difference between the two groups in pooled exercise adherence (p=0.44); however, this study was limited by the low trial quality and small number of included patients in the meta-analysis.
