OE Journal. 2014;2(14):2930 stroke patients were randomized to evaluate the feasibility and the efficacy of Nintendo-Wii based therapy on balance rehabilitation. Patients were allocated to undergo Wii-based training whilst standing (Balance group) or while sitting (Upper Limb Group) and were monitored over 2 to 4 weeks. The evidence presented in this conference report suggested that Wii-based therapy was feasible, safe, and produced a trend towards improved balance after stroke.
