Cost-Effectiveness of Supervised versus Unsupervised Rehabilitation for Rotator-Cuff Repair: Systematic Review; Meta-Analysis.
Int J Environ Res Public Health. 2020 Apr 21;17(8).Four studies enrolling a total of 132 patients were included in this systematic review and meta-analysis comparing supervised and unsupervised rehabilitation following rotator cuff repair surgery. Outcomes of interest included function, range of motion, cost-effectiveness and pain outcomes, however only pain scores at rest were meta-analyzed. The pooled results of the meta-analysis revealed no significant differences in pooled Visual Analog Scale pain scores at rest between the two groups.
