Manipulation under anesthesia with home exercises versus home exercises alone in the treatment of frozen shoulder: A randomized, controlled trial with 125 patients
J Shoulder Elbow Surg. 2007 Nov-Dec;16(6):722-6. Epub 2007 Oct 10125 patients with frozen shoulder were randomised to undergo one of two treatments. The first group had manipulation under anaesthesia in addition to home exercises while the second group had home exercises alone. Results indicated that there were comparable improvements in shoulder symptoms from both groups at the 1-year follow-up.
