Arthroscopic versus Open Lateral Release for the Treatment of Lateral Epicondylitis: A Prospective Randomized Controlled Trial
71 patients with lateral epicondylitis were randomized to undergo either arthroscopic or open lateral release surgery, after a minimum of 6 months of conservative treatment. The purpose of this study was to compare the two treatments and determine if there were any significant differences in quality of life and function. No significant differences between groups were observed for any of the measured outcomes.
