OE Journal. 2013;1(19):37Data from 7 randomized controlled trials including 440 patients, published between January 1980 and March 2013, was pooled to comparatively evaluate unipedicular and bipedicular percutaneous vertebroplasty (PKP). The evidence presented in this study revealed no significant differences between the two interventions in terms of VAS, ODI, radiographic outcomes, or complications. However longer operation times and radiation exposure were observed in the bipedicular group.
