Evaluation of Analgesic Efficacy of Intra-Articular Bupivacaine, Bupivacaine Plus Fentanyl, and Bupivacaine Plus Tramadol After Arthroscopic Knee Surgery
Arthroscopy. 2011 Dec;27(12):1637-43. Epub 2011 Nov 160 patients, aged 16-65 years, undergoing elective knee arthroscopic surgery under general anesthesia received 30 mL of 0.25% bupivacaine and were randomized to receive either 1 mL of normal saline, fentany,l or tramadol. The combination treatments demonstrated superiority over the bupivacaine alone; furthermore, bupivacaine-fentanyl combination was better of the two combinations.
