OrthoEvidence Journal (OE Journal) - ACE Report
OE Journal. 2023;11(18):10 BMC Complement Med Ther. 2023; 23: 229.研究概要
40 patients with chronic, non-specific low back pain were randomized to receive an 8-week Back School-based Program (BSP; n=20) or no treatment (n=20). The outcomes of interest included pain intensity (measured with a Visual Analog Scale [VAS]), disability (Roland Morris Disability Questionnaire [RMDQ]), health-related quality of life (Short Form 36 [SF-36]), and kinesiophobia (Tampa Scale of Kinesiophobia [TSK-11]), all measured pre-treatment and post-treatment. The results demonstrated significant clinical improvement in pain, disability, functional aspects of quality of life, and kinesiophobia after 8 weeks of BSP intervention compared to the control group. The results suggest that Back School-based intervention programs can effectively manage chronic non-specific low back pain in adults, however, long term studies are required.
