Artificial Intelligence Technology Combined with Ultrasound-Guided Needle Knife Interventional Treatment of PF: Improvement of Pain, Fascia Thickness, and Ankle-Foot Function in Patients
Comput Math Methods Med. 2022 01-May;():. 10.1155/2022/3021320One hundred and thirty patients with plantar fasciitis were randomized to receive ultrasound-guided interventional therapy with the use of artificial intelligence (AI) for image processing (n=65) or without AI. The outcomes of interest included pain on a Visual Analog Scale (VAS), plantar fascia thickness, elasticity, and blood flow index, AOFAS ankle function scores, and nursing satisfaction. Results revealed all outcomes to be significantly better in the AI group compared to the control group.
