An e-learning program improves low back pain beliefs of physiotherapists: a randomised trial.
OrthoEvidence Journal (OE Journal) - ACE Report
OE Journal. 2025;13(5):34 J Physiother. 2025 Jan;71(1):35-41.研究概要
One hundred six physiotherapists treating low back pain were randomized to receive either an e-learning program based on clinical guidelines (n=53) or continue usual practice (n=53). The primary outcome was beliefs about low back pain, measured using the Modified Back Beliefs Questionnaire (MBBQ). Secondary outcomes included the Back Pain Attitudes Questionnaire (Back-PAQ) and agreement with two statements regarding the necessity of imaging for low back pain. Outcomes were assessed at baseline and six weeks. Overall, the results demonstrated that the e-learning program significantly improved physiotherapists' beliefs about low back pain management. Participants in the experimental group showed a mean improvement of 8 points (95% CI 5 to 10) in the MBBQ compared to the control group. The findings suggest that an online education program can effectively promote evidence-based beliefs among physiotherapists.
