The effects of neck mobilization in patients with chronic neck pain: A randomized controlled trial

OE Journal. 2018;6(4):8 J Bodyw Mov Ther. 2018 Jan;22(1):24-3168 patients with chronic, mechanical neck pain were randomized to standard physiotherapy with or without the addition of cervical mobilization intervention. All patients attended at total of 10 sessions over a 4-week period, with additional home exercises to be completed daily. Patients were assessed for improvement in pain, disability, neck range of motion, and neck muscle endurance after completion of the 4-week programs. Results demonstrated significantly greater improvement in each outcome in the physiotherapy plus mobilization group compared to the physiotherapy alone group.
