Comparison between hamstring autograft and free tendon Achilles allograft: minimum 2-year follow-up after anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction using EndoButton and Intrafix

Epub 2011 Feb 374 patients were randomized to compare the clinical and radiographic results of anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction using two procedures: Autogenous hamstring tendon and free tendon Achilles autograft (fixed with EndoButton in the femoral tunnel and Intrafix in the tibial tunnel). The 2 year assessment revealed that the clinical and radiological outcomes between the two procedures were comparable.
