2017 AAOS Annual Meeting: No Benefit of Computer-assisted Total Knee Arthroplasty: 10-year Results of a Prospective Randomized Study

80 patients scheduled for total knee arthroplasty were randomized to the procedure with either the use of computer-assistance technology or to conventional methods. Patients were followed up for 10 years for results on clinical scores and survivorship. Results after 10 years demonstrated no significant differences between groups in the Knee Injury and Osteoarthritis Outcome Score, the Forgotten Joint Score, the Knee Society Score, the Short Form 12-Item General Health Survey, or in survivorship.
