A Randomized Controlled Trial of Triclosan-Coated Sutures in 2,547 Lower Limb Arthroplasty Operations

Results did not support the use of triclosan-coated sutures, as there was no significant difference in superficial, deep or combined surgical site infection (SSI) rates between the triclosan-coated and standard suture groups.
