Radialization vs. Centralization Procedures for High Grade Radial Club Hand: A Randomized Trial

16 radial club hands of Heikel grade 3 and 4 were randomized to undergo either centralization or radialization. The purpose of the study was to compare the two techniques with respect to clinical, functional and radiological outcomes. Results after 1 year revealed lower clinical and radiological hand forearm angles with the radialization procedure. Functional outcomes were similar in both groups.
