Minimally Invasive Computer-Assisted Total Knee Arthroplasty Compared With Conventional Total Knee Arthroplasty: A Prospective 9-Year Follow-Up

OE Journal. 2016;4(15):2 J Arthroplasty. 2016 May;31(5):1000-4108 patients undergoing total knee arthroplasty (TKA) procedure were randomized to receive minimally invasive computer-assisted TKA (MICA-TKA) or conventional TKA. The purpose of this study was to compare the long-term clinical, functional, and radiographic outcomes of the two procedures at 9 year follow-up. Findings indicated no significant differences between the two procedures in functional scores, coronal prosthetic alignment, or radiographic signs of component loosening at final follow-up.
