2013 ISASS Annual Meeting: Seven-year Results of the ProDisc-C Multi-center Randomized Clinical Trial

OE Journal. 2013;1(3):80209 patients experiencing single-level symptomatic cervical degenerative disc disease amid C3 and C7 were randomized to undergo either cervical artificial disc replacement (C-ADR) or anterior cervical discectomy and fusion (ACDF), in order to compare clinical outcomes of the two surgical procedures. Following assessments over a 7 year period, results indicated that patients with single-level symptomatic cervical degenerative disc disease could be treated safely and effectively with C-ADR as an alternative to ACDF.
