OE Journal. 2025;13(1):45 PLoS One . 2024 Apr 30;19(4):e0302577.研究概要
One hundred twenty-four adolescents with idiopathic scoliosis were randomized to receive standard care combined with Schroth exercises (n=64) or standard care alone (n=60). The primary outcome was torso asymmetry measured by root mean square (RMS) and maximum deviation (MaxDev) using surface topography. Outcomes were assessed at baseline, three months, six months, and twelve months. Overall, the Schroth group demonstrated significant improvements in RMS and MaxDev compared to controls after six months. These findings suggest Schroth exercises added to standard care significantly reduce torso asymmetry in adolescents with idiopathic scoliosis.
