Synopsis

42 subjects with rotator cuff tendonitis/impingement were randomly assigned to either therapeutic kinesiotape (KT) group or a sham KT group. Clinical outcome was assessed after 3 and 6 days of intervention. The therapeutic application of Kinesio Tape demonstrated immediate improvement in pain-free shoulder abduction after tape application.
