Synopsis
329 patients undergoing operative fixation of an extremity fracture were included in this trial to compare venous thromboembolism prophylaxis compliance between aspirin and enoxaparin. There was no difference in the percentage of patients that missed a dose (Asprin 41.2% and Enoxaparin 43.3%, p=0.7).
