Synopsis
57 patients scheduled for total shoulder arthroplasty or reverse total shoulder arthroplasty were randomized to postoperative analgesia with either local anesthesia via infiltration of liposomal bupivacaine into surrounding tissues, or with regional anesthesia via an interscalene brachial plexus block.
