Synopsis
72 patients undergoing double-bundle anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction were randomized to different methods of postoperative analgesia. Patients received a periarticular multimodal injection (PI) or a femoral nerve block (FNB), all patients were given supplemental patient-controlled analgesia (PCA) using fentanyl.
