Synopsis

72 patients were randomized to undergo Total Hip Arthroplasty (THA) with either mini-incision or two-incision surgical approach. Postoperative outcomes up to one year in both the groups were similar in terms of pain, length of stay, complications, Harris hip scores, and SF-12 scores. However, the procedure done with two incision approach had a longer operative time.
