Synopsis
45 patients (52 tendons) with patellar tendinopathy were randomized to receive treatment with ultrasound and colour Doppler-guided sclerosing polidocanol injections or ultrasound and colour Doppler-guided arthroscopic shaving, to determine which treatment method was more effective at lowering patellar tendon pain.
