Synopsis
97 patients with four different classes of distal radial fractures were randomized to receive either Py's or Kapandji's technique of percutaneous pinning to determine which method is more effective. Clinical and radiographic analysis was conducted over 1 year. The results of this study show that the effectiveness of either technique was dependent on the type of fracture sustained.
