Synopsis

One hundred sixty-nine patients with symptomatic degenerative or spondylolytic lumbar spondylolisthesis were randomized to receive either percutaneous pedicle screw placement with mini-open midline decompression (n=81) or conventional open decompression with instrumented fusion (n=88).
