Synopsis

Forty patients with acute plantar fasciitis were randomized to receive kinesiotape (n=20) or low-dye tape (n=20). The primary outcome was pain measured using a visual analog scale. Secondary outcomes included mobility, comfort, hygiene comfort, durability, sweating, and allergic reactions. Outcomes were assessed daily for five days and 24 hours after tape removal.
