Effect of individualized comfortable nursing on prognosis of vacuum sealing drainage in patients with orthopedic trauma.

One hundred and ten patients with orthopedic trauma vacuum sealing drainage were randomized to receive either an individualized nursing intervention (n=55) or control (n=55). Outcomes of interest included wound healing time, pain, quality of life, the incidence of adverse events, and patient satisfaction after 14 days. Wound healing time, pain scores, quality of life (emotional, social, role, and cognitive function), TNF-a and IL-6 levels, and adverse events, were all significantly lower in the individualized nursing intervention group after 14 days.
