Synopsis
Sixty patients undergoing shoulder arthroscopy were randomized to receive either an ultrasound-guided erector spinae block (ESPB) with bupivacaine and dexmedetomidine (ESPB + DEX; n=30) or ESPB with bupivacaine alone (ESPB; n=30).
