Synopsis
Twenty-nine patients who underwent hallux valgus surgery were randomized to a picture group (n=15) who were shown their pre-operative photograph for 5 minutes at each post-operative visit, or a control group (n=14). The outcomes of interest included foot function index, foot and ankle score, hallux valgus angle, intermetatarsal angle, and patient satisfaction, up to 6 months post-operation. Result...
