Synopsis
40 patients with knee osteoarthritis (OA) were randomized to evaluate the effect of Kinesio Taping (KT) on isokinetic quadriceps torque, as compared against a sham intervention. Patients were assessed based on isokinetic quadriceps torque (concentric and eccentric at 90 and 120 degrees/second), standardized stair-climbing task (SSCT) and VAS pain during SSCT.
