Synopsis
541 patients, between the ages of 22 and 73, with symptomatic degenerative cervical disc disease were placed in 1 of 2 groups to test the safety and efficacy of cervical disc arthroplasty (CDA) compared to anterior cervical decompression and interbody fusion. Results demonstrated that patients in each group experienced improved NDI, SF-36 PCS, and neck and arm pain scores 5 years after treatment. ...
