Synopsis

77 patients with symptomatic, Kellgren-Lawrence grade II-IV knee osteoarthritis were randomized to intraarticular hyaluronic acid (IAHA) injections with or without an additional, single periarticular lidocaine-corticosteroid injection (PALCI) at the beginning of treatment.
