Synopsis
92 patients undergoing total hip arthroplasty were included in this randomized controlled trial to compare the quality of recovery between three different methods of anesthesia: general anesthesia, spinal/epidural anesthesia alone, or spinal anesthesia plus lumbar and sacral plexus blocks.
