Synopsis
395 patients undergoing total hip replacement (THR) were randomized to one of two waiting time groups. The first group (short waiting time) received surgery within the first 3 months of randomization. The second group (non-fixed waiting time) received surgery any time after 3 months. This study assessed differences in health related quality of life, pain, function, and cost between the two groups....
