Synopsis
165 patients with trigger finger were randomized to open release of the A1 pulley or to treatment with a corticosteroid injection. Patients were assessed for reduction in Trigger Finger Score grade to either I or IIa, representing normal movement of the finger. Follow-up was performed at 3 and 12 months after treatment.
