Synopsis
71 patients scheduled for total knee arthroplasty were randomized to postoperative analgesia through either a fascia iliaca block or periarticular injection analgesia. Patients were assessed for pain, analgesic consumption, and satisfaction over the first 24 hours postoperatively.
