Synopsis

100 patients with thoracolumbar vertebral fracture were randomized to either radiofrequency kyphoplasty or balloon kyphoplasty. The purpose of this study was to compare the rate of cement leakage between the two groups. Postoperative leakage observed on imaging did not significantly differ between groups.
