Synopsis

220 elderly individuals were randomly assigned to receive either Whole Body Vibration (WBV) therapy, routine fitness (FIT), or a control. Patients were monitored over 12 months and evaluated based on the Sensory Organization Test, Motor Control Test and Adaptation Test using a computerized dynamic posturography platform.
