Synopsis

19 patients presenting with snapping hip syndrome were randomized to surgical release of the iliopsoas tendon at either the lesser trochanter or at the level of the hip, using a transcapsular technique. This study assessed if the site of tendon release affected clinical outcomes of this procedure.
