Synopsis

94 patients, who underwent mini-open carpal tunnel release, were randomized to use different forms of postoperative dressing to assess their effect on wound healing. Patients either received an adhesive strip following randomization 48-72 hours postoperatively or continued the use of normal postoperative wound dressing.
